North Korea has rewritten its constitution to erase any goal of reunification with the South. The move locks in Pyongyang leader Kim Jong Un’s shift toward treating Seoul as a permanent adversary.

    That’s a good thing, kinda?

    “Peacefull co-existence” should be.

    But how rewriting the constitution will affect their relationship remains unclear for me. Except, that maybe it’s less confrontational on paper.

    It’s remarkable how the talks between north & south suddenly worsened after 2023. And, they even demolished the building were they held the peacetalks.

    ps: just realised this is wrong community for this post. Though S Korea is an ally ofc
