This is the funny part, anarchists and liberals never actually follow anything they preach in practice. They’ll screech about Marxists being authoritarian, but happily do the exact things they denounce in their own spaces. It just exposes the lack of intellectual integrity on their part. Lemmy.ml the instance isn’t Lemmy the software platform, and there are plenty of Lemmy instances out there that align with your bog-standard imperial core political sensibilities.
“Authoritarianism” is not a thing. All states wield authority, what distinguishes them above all is in which class’s interests, and this is determined by which class is in control of the state. You weren’t reflexively called a fascist, you were called a fascist after dehumanizing ethnicities of people whose state you opposed, and the fact that you support neo-Nazi groups.

The issue is that the Lemmy.ml moderators are largely communists and you got censored for spouting fascist views and disinformation.
The issue is the complete acceptance of authoritarianism, and the inability to accept criticism of same.
