It’s illegal to tailgate in many places. I’ve seen and heard of many cases of people being ticketed or even arrested if they catch other charges on top of it like using a vehicle as weapon or dangerous/reckless driving. The really bad offenders eventually do get caught even if they are getting away with it 99% of the time. Traffic court is full of these MFers everyday
