I don’t care so much if they can be transferred, I only want to be able to use a different app for passkeys. I still can’t do that reliably. Some apps will, most won’t, and I don’t understand why.

I ask because on GrapheneOS only Vanidum works reliably with 3rd party passkey appsI haven’t had any issues with it on stock OnePlus 13R. Just setting Bitwarden as provider in settings made it work.
I use KeepassDX and it works fine for my use case.
I have a similar issue with Proton Pass. Some passkey dialogues wil only l open up the default google/Android one.
That means something. I’m also using ProtonPass
Oh, if you are using Proton Pass that may just be the issue. When I tried Bitwarden it had some sort of fallback method when the default system dialogue popped up, where you can manually select it. Proton Pass appears to lack that, for whatever reason. I have contacted them about in the past.
