Bears are babies. My little dog chases them away. My son-in-law walked between a mother bear and her cubs while hiking. She woofed at him and charged up to 15 yards away from him. He stood very still and the mama bear stopped and woofed some more then ambled off.
What about bears? Don’t you ever think about the bears?
No but they show up on a lot of community events

Only when hunting season is open. One bear gets me 80-100lbs of meat. Bear is great for stew, chili, or burgers. Not so good for steaks or roasts.

Nowhere near as deadly or annoying as mosquitoes though. They really make me second guess my love of camping.
