Mandatory age verification may just be the smoking gun that pushes people towards Linux.
And it’s good this exemption got added. Enforcing this upon the FOSS community is inevitably going to be a shitshow.

Now that I thought about that - it gets kinda funny since most non-open source operating systems already have some sorts of age verification. Microsoft, for example, already knows user’s birth date in majority of cases. And degoogling one’s Android phone also leads up to a open source operation system in there.
