    let me ask right now. i really want an answer to this:

    what - do you call - this dress?

    i want to know. right now. ive searched for this exact type of kinda square cut kinda bib but not overall type dress… for - for so long.

      In german its called a Latzkleid or a Latzrock. Maybe that helps you a little.

      Edit: took another look at the photo and it seems like it is just normal dungarees but in a short pants version

        ive heard of these being called “pinafore” maaaaaany times, but online… I never find anything with that search query…

          You can get closer searching for “pinafore dungarees”. I found this, which looks similr I think. Most of them have a larger front panel, but there seem to be some on places like etsy and pinterest that have the narrower panel. I think it’s just a case of fassions changing over time. Give it a while and this style will probably be back in fashion.

            butbutbut it is in fashion rn,… i saw some girlz wearing such dresses in real life.,… but am too scared to ask them cuz they are strangers and such…

              Ah, I’m afraid my style knowledge is not so much “out of fashion” as “probably never been in fashion”, so I just assume that anything I don’t see much of anymore must have dropped out, and will come back. Good luck on your hunt!
