    A decade ago it wasn’t warm enough.

    A decade ago, I wasn’t considering 30 degree highs in May and June normal.

    Still gets too cold in the winter for screwworms to become endemic THIS decade. But they can thrive in the summer months in imported cattle; with a 37 day cycle, they can hang around long enough to do damage right now.

    We can’t depend on climate to protect us indefinitely.
