It’s actually called the Barack Obama Presidential Center because his Presidential Library is digital. (The physical copies of his documents will be preserved in a National Archives and Records Administration facility elsewhere.)
So it has no use at all, just a monument to his ego?
Just like his presidency so it’s at least fitting.

Oh nice! It’s one of my all time favorites. Still hoping it someday gets a proper adaptation. I think an animated series would be the best way to go given it’s packed full of so much wild high strangeness and shit that would be incredibly difficult to film.

If the risks of lava could be mitigated would an active volcano be a decent olace to store books? Low humidity, no insects, etc…
Loads of particulates in the air though. And sulfur is used in the production of paper but I dont know if that means its good for books. (Sulfuric acid is definitely bad for books though)
and of course presidential libraries entire existence is owed to the forever-tax-breaks they get to do as a shady tax haven for “philanthropic donations”
