I mean, they left already. It’s a done deal, regardless of if the deal was crappy to begin with. What’s another vote going to prove? And why would the EU take them back when they already demonstrated that they’ll gladly ratfuck a plebiscite to get the result they want?
I suspect if we did have another vote, it wouldn’t go in favour of Rejoin anyway (and I say this as a remainer who never supported leave at all.) I suspect a lot of people assume we’ll be rejoining with the same deal we had before, so if we tried to rejoin and Europe said we have to accept the Euro, the right-wing papers would fire up and have a field day about it, and a big chunk of those people who wanted a second vote would flip sides.
