It does feel like financial capitalism will keep trucking along up and until the bottom (material reality) falls out, and if that doesn’t start to happen with the oil supply simply becoming too low to sustain basic functioning society (and prevent food riots) then idk

I’m starting to think that we’ll never see a traditional crash, now that financial capitalism has approached its logical end goal of not actually producing anything there is now nowhere else for capitalists to park their vast hoards of blood money except to invest in stocks.
