Denmark has placed a permanent order for Saab’s Giraffe 1X radar systems after using them for more than six months before high-profile summits in Copenhagen.
So no response to whether news about European military equipment is relevant considering Europe is trying to gain independence.
And no explanation on where “all the posts” came from, when it’s 3 out of 20.
All in all I don’t see you making much of an argument, but is butthurt for anyone disagreeing with you???
Unfortunately Lemmy is a very tiny place, and you are probably very well aware that this is the sub that got the momentum.
Question is then, why are you trying to ruin it in this thread?
Maybe another post was irrelevant, but why didn’t you complain there instead then?
There has been significantly more of such posts in recent weeks 🤷
And posting lobby outlet press releases with zero commentary is discuraged regardless of the actual topic.
And yes, this community got momentum (despite multiple attempts to discredit the moderators here) because we actually curate it, and I plan to continue doing so.
I’m not sure if I’d agree. An article published in a trade journal (‘Fachzeitschrift’) about the results of a climate change study or renewable energy could also very well be of general interest for the public in Europe, don’t you think?

OK I agree we don’t want to be flooded with it.
That is very understandable and I absolutely agree on that.
Which is appreciated.
BUT I feel like you still evaded my original question, but let’s just leave it here.
Where do you draw the line between ‘lobby outlet’ and ‘trade journal’?
Most trade journal posts would also fall into the not of general interest category.

In rare cases when commentary is provided.
