Kevin Spacey is doing pretty well when you compare him to James Somerton lol. ofc that’s hardly a typical example of cancel culture either, given that it had zero to do with SA allegations and he instead got wiped from public existence for plagiarism, which is very easy to prove conclusively in a longform youtube video. But i feel i need to bring it up because it’s an actual example of that exceptionally rare thing where somebody’s reputation gets totally, irreparably obliterated from one day to the next.
