While I agree that parts of the west (US) has taken steps in the wrong direction, saying that China is doing “much better on human rights” is wild, or in other words, completely bonkers.
The West is currently committing a full scale genocide in Palestine but i’m sure you can excuse that because they’re just brown people being killed by enlightened Westerners.

I have never, nor will I ever, excuse the genocide in Palestine/Gaza. Israel needs to stop killing Palestinians yesterday, no matter what.
