Stopping for an ice cream while doing a bit of domestic summer travelling.

Sat down and there it is:

It’s just proudly there, bang in the center of this relatively large city. And from what I know the other markings here are saying that this was basically a White stronghold, a literal nazi nest. And there is this memorial on it, and nobody bats an eye.

But I forget, it’s totally not a nazi symbol because it’s the other way around! Or so I was told in school. think-about-it /s

Finland. Everyday I feel more depressed to exist here.

    Lots of saunas though. And good vodka

    Both from our extremely long co-existance with the Asiatic hordes that we are so hard trying to distance ourselves from and ignore (the bougies are, and sadly have succeeded in).

    I get especially depressed when I think about the hostility towards our neigbouring country that actually liberated us. I do not and never will understand the bougie anxiety of needing to “be European” when we are not and never will be. Would much rather embrace the sauna and the vodka and our “uncivilized” ways.
