Every time I hear someone talk about nuance or complexity its just a defense of the status quo, but you have to feel a little bad about it.
Present actual nuance like: Despite the repressive policies against women and queer people, Iran is a global force for good and so is HAMAS, and they’ll get mad or try to talk to you about there being no good guys. Say China is doing good and suddenly its really complicated, but say Zohran Mandani or AOC or whoever did something good and its all rainbows and gumdrops.
