This actually makes perfect sense. This bus only visits the stops in this particular part of the city.
In other words, this subnet only has these sites available inside the wider Lan.
Genius.
Saw one going to Cheerio Street once, and it had this sort of cosmic, spacey kind of pattern printed on it. It was a Universal Cereal Bus.
I saw one numbered 127.0.0.1 that kept going around in circles.
Turns out, it was right where it needed to be
it looped back atleast
Headed towards a gateway.
How long until a Loop Back?
the VESA Local Bus video cards used to be about that big too
IPv6 is missing from my networking meme 😞

Looks like AI slop to me.
This is an old ass photo that predates AI.
I also thought it looked a bit sloppy. I couldn’t find it with a reverse image search, and AI detectors seem convinced it’s fake. Where’s it from?
For some reason it doesn’t come up on TinEye, but often I’ve found it to be very hit or miss. Where this file is from is Discord, but I searched for it earlier on another reverse image lookup site and saw an older imgur post with it. But idk maybe people have been churning out AI shit longer than I think? I’m so fucking tired of trying to put images under a microscope to see if shits real or not.
I work with similar network based LED signs and you can have them show IP or MAC when they’re new out of box. The ones I get always are set to 192.168.1.200. So idk this isn’t that surprising to me.
That train looks sus, like the tracks look a bit wide and they just end there with no barrier or anything. I’ve been to the end of the line on a few different light rails and there is always some sort of barrier to both stop trains from going off the tracks and to prevent idiots from driving onto them.
Edit: there’s also no railing on the platform with a hefty ledge and what are those bollards doing on the platform?
Source?
Networks.baseline on Instagram in 2024. Doesn’t predate ai, but potentially a shoop based on some of their other posts
The plates look british and the weather is grey and wet. I think this actually checks out
that is a transport for london logo on the front of the bus but nothing else there makes sense
- london has only one tram line
- the trams are green
- the busses are red
- the 94 bus doesn’t go anywhere near the one tram line
- SX is an Inverness (scottish) license plate prefix
- the license plate isn’t registered in the public lookup datebase on gov.uk
- it couldn’t be, the 85 would mean registered in the second half of 2035
The “metro station” looks a bit like someone lifted one platform of the Greenwich DLR station and dropped it on a car park.
This is clearly a green version of the red ARRIVA buses, which doesn’t appear to exist, so my vote is slop.
Based on…?
Unmarked plates bus parked at “metro station” and no person with discernable features in sight.
Where it sits aligned with the grooves in the pavement where a bus would normally never park is highly unusual.
I mean, I don’t get where exactly the bus is (there are only Underground stations on the 94 route), but it’s clearly got plates, it’s a real London bus and the pavement is next to it.
