Tostadas with black bean mash is the same as toast with baked beans was my point. Toasted bread with some mashy beans. Feel like that was pretty obvious.

    “Im a good anglo!!” Then

But it’s not the same thing; the British don’t eat black beans on average or bean mash for that matter, and I’ve never seen anyone dump a cup of tomato water on a crispy tostadas bean dish, drowning the seasoning in a shallow tangy mush

Also tostadas are far superior to the store-bought white bread that usually suffers the mushy fate becoming British bean toast

Mexican people eat beans on toasted bread. So does British people. Thats my point, i do not understand why you are being so obstinate about it. Its a perfectly fine meal, nothing to write home about.

Haricot beans undercooked in Heinz tomato water are not the same thing as seasoned black bean mash properly cooked…

Toasted cornbread with seasoning is not the same thing as undertoasted store-bought white bread with no seasoning…

The point isn’t that both dishes aren’t “beans on toast” the point is one dish usually works and the other usually doesn’t, except to Brits who don’t know better

          nothing to write home about.

lmao well I’m glad we agree!

I don’t understand why anyone would want to so intensely defend the honor of British bean toast, I never said people should go to prison for eating that slop, I outlined my reasons why I think it’s trash, simple as that.

Also you STARTED the conversation with THIS…

Its a tiring meme that screams “IM ONE OF YHE GOOD WHITE PEOPLE”. Like a leftist version of those guys that eat spicy food to prove how manly they are

And you want to talk about “encouraging pleasant interactions”??? You called me a white person who screams “I’m one of the good ones” and a fake tough guy…for the audacity of not liking BRITISH. BEAN. TOAST. Genuinely, that’s silly and wearing out MY patience

Either way who cares, if you like British bean toast that’s your business; enjoy, and I guess I’ll keep my opinions on cuisines to myself because apparently they offend you personally for SOME reason
