If you’re looking into safety razors, get a starter pack with an assortment of blades. I was getting one and I thought it couldn’t possibly matter, because for God’s sake, it’s a sharp piece of metal, how could it? And then I tried a few different brands from the assortment pack, and sure enough one of them worked much better for my face than others (it was Shark, btw).
I can easily believe that for some people, one brand of blade is no good, while another is perfect, and I’d hate to think that someone tried shaving with the wrong kind and got turned off the whole project from that one wrong sample.
I did that and landed on feather I think they are called? Great advice though, I remember being really surprised by the difference in cut between brands and all of the included blades were highly rated so I also figure it must make a difference with facial structure and hair makeup of the individuals more than I expected. All the blades worked fine but the one brand was just so much better.
