This is one of the best articles I have ever seen posted on this site. I want to do the usual thing I do which is cut out snippets and put them in a comment but the entire thing is good.

I am particularly fond of the analysis of the social and political relations driving people to say things about AI that they do not believe because their jobs are at stake if they don’t say them. Really good analysis.
