    The best part is, this is not an old tradition. It was started by a group of students who polished the dog making it look like it has been touched over a long time.

      Can’t be. Look at St Peter’s feet in the Vatican. They’re basically gone after centuries of people touching them. If old boy here had the same treatment, he’d be nothing but a gold smear
