I hope the dev that forked it continues with developing it as then there is fuck all the original dev can do and that’ll grate him every dam time he sees it. :)
According to the “Forked” message at the top of the forked GitHub, they plan to just drop support for the Tesseract front-end with Lemmy v1.0, whenever that comes around.
So better hope someone can pick it up to maintain the changes to it whenever that comes around. Hopefully there won’t be any need to keep up with the main Tesseract build if the Dev’s actions in response to this are anything to go off of.
