I am aware of their conservative government but I hear mixed things about their society.
Some say they’re even more conservative than the USA, and some say they’re kinda open minded and just vote conservative for the gas/petrol.
I’m 22, and I got my orchiectomy (they may restrict HRT so yeah). I just wondered how is living in Edmonton/Calgary, and visiting other places in the province?
Many people asked me if I was Russian in Canada so I can say that I have a white privilege?
I won’t move there but I really wonder as it’s the richest province (GDP per capita).

I visit Calgary from time to time (I live in BC) and the vibes aren’t as nice as home, but nobody has been super rude or anything to my face. I only go there for shopping though, I’ve never been to any bars or clubs in Alberta.
Outside of Calgary stopping for gas or food there’s almost always someone staring with a bad look on their face, so I’d definitely feel less comfortable in those small town areas if I was traveling alone, but I’ve never feared for my safety.
Are you passing or clocky if you don’t mind me asking?
Do you think they stare badly because they clocked you?
