Good choice! I already know this one and have had an entire ww1 themed punk album using with the lyrics comprised of quotes and poetry from the time. I remember when the Iraq war was declared and I basically lost my fucking mind about it. I was a kid and figured if saddam had wmd a ear would be the time to use em. Got told on the drive up to my grandparent’s house that they don’t hsve em and it was sll bullshit and then spent the test of the night sitting in my grsndparents living room watching the bombing raids on CNN. I felt the fear I had about being bombed in retaliation shown live on tv and I knew there were kids my age living their just as scared as I just was seeing thst fear realized. That moment made me who I am.
