Someone did come through with a sainsburys gift card, thank you. sainsburys are looking into the missing coupons and it seems they will be restored soon (it turned out to be a website glitch) so I can get through the rest of the month. Justeat aren’t responding though, that one appears to be an actual scam.

Someone questioned why I was wanting to get food delivered when asking for mutual aid, I wrote about it in another thread but basically my landlady’s family are visiting so she’s not driving me anywhere this week, her family are unkind and her husband is creepy so I’m staying in my room and I can’t travel without help due to being housebound due to disability.

I think there are technical issues with justeat now, so that is a no-go.

Please consider posting once a day and editing the title of a mutual aid post to include [Covered] or [Need Met] when a request has been satisfied or goal met.

Consider not making comments about receiving large donations, or about what that money is spent on.

Moderator Pinning Rules:

Moderators are strictly prohibited from promoting/endorsing/pinning individual mutual aid requests (especially those of their own) as this creates unfair post visibility and could therefore benefit more from that than the standard user. Moderators caught engaging in this behavior will be swiftly removed from the moderator board with extreme prejudice.

Moderators are allowed to pin and crosspost donation requests for large scope issues such as natural disaster relief funds and bail funds ((Example)[https://hexbear.net/post/16574) along with other crowd or moderator-compiled informational resources pertaining to donating or volunteering (Example), so long as the utmost due diligence is done prior to endorsement, especially in the case of directing people to donate to non-profit organizations.

Financial documents of non-profit organizations available to the public must be heavily scrutinized before moderator endorsement, and links to those must also be included in the endorsement post to help the community make their own decision if they should donate.
