Being busy working on things you care about CAN be good for you and help you define the meaning in your life. The whole fucking point is to find out what gives your particular brain contentment, and not to mindlessly seek the rewards society tells everybody they must strive for.

Funny how we don’t see these posts from people working long hours trying to cure diseases or improve the world. Maybe it’s because those people actually feel validated and content and don’t have to desperately farm for it from strangers.
