Hungary has described Russia as a “threat to Europe and the global order” in guidelines for its delegation attending the UN General Assembly next month, Der Spiegel reported on Aug. 26.
The move marks a dramatic shift in Hungary’s stance since Prime Minister Peter Magyar defeated the Russia-friendly Viktor Orban in elections earlier this year.
“Hungary condemns Russian military aggression and fully supports Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders,” the document states.
“Russia’s behavior poses a threat to Hungary, Europe, and the global order,” it adds.

The greatest threat is the US and Nato, and the decision in 2008 to expand Nato to Ukraine and Georgia. And all the bubblehead children who couldn’t think further than “Njet? Oh haha what they gonna do huh?”. A complete lack of realism and diplomacy.
Russia has trouble conquering a Nato armed Ukraine, but somehow it’s a huge threat to all of Europe combined. Make it make sense.

Trump has dismantled all of the DOJ and FBI units that combat Russian money laundering and Russian oligarchs. Trump sold golden visa citizenships to Russian oligarchs who he says are “very fine people”. Trump repeatedly attacks Zelensky and sabataged our weapons deliveries for political gain which helped Russia. When Putin visited Alaska, Trump had our troops ON THEIR KNEES rolling red carpet for Putin.
This is the most clear and present danger we have ever seen and an administration of the most open and flagrant TREASON BY THE NOST OBVIOUSLY COMPROMISED INDIVIDUALS.
THEY ALL NEED TO BE PUBLICLY PUNISHED NOW.
In reality though, nothing will happen except a few millionaires that we never heard of that will go to prison in 5 -10 years. All of the billionaires will be richer AND WILL DO THIS AGAIN ON ANOTHER 50 YEARS.

Let’s just follow your logic for a moment. The USA can not even keep a straight open against a non existing Navy. Why does Russia not defeating Ukraine = weak but the USA is, despite this, such a threat? Both can not be true at the same time, since the same logic applies?

Dear Hungary - you were invited to Europe then carried on in the most terrible ways. Decide what you want, pick a way and stick with it.
They picked a way a long while ago, and now picked a new one. There are democracies where these kinds of changes happen much more frequently. The only places where they “stick with it” quite likely aren’t democratic, like Russia for example.
Unfortunately this will probably common behaviour in Western democracies. People will be voting for openly pro russian politicians.
If only we could eliminate the “nepo baby root cause” of ALL OF THESE CONFLICTS
