I always need a hug, and I can’t get them very often. I don’t know if it’s a sensory thing or if I’m just a really cuddly bear, but I always want more hugs than I can get.

They really do. I was sitting on a bench once waiting for the bus when a random cat just came up to me and sat right next to me. I tried to ignore it, but it started rubbing its head against me, demanding cuddles aggressively.
I obliged of course and cuddled with it until my bus arrived. Felt a little bit sad that this fairytale moment was already over, but when I took a last peek at it, I saw that the woman who exited the bus just now took over and started petting it too. That cat really knows what it wants and how to get it.
Cats come in one of two variations: “Don’t touch me, ever!” and “Hugs, right meow, or else!”

I would hug you if I could comrade. Better even still last night this couple at karaoke was doing a Flogging Molly song and when I got up and did my best Irish dance, the girl came over and pulled me onto the dance floor to do the thing where you lock elbows and dance round in a circle. Then the three of us got some pitchers and got absolutely shitfaced after. Best night out in a while.
