One of the few times I played around with VR was a racing game and it was awesome, but I’m not a big racing games person so my concern is that would not have much value beyond novelty.
I Expect You to Die, the game series. Funny room escape secret agent story game series. Does a great job of utilizing VR controls and room layout without requiring you to leave your seat. Also has an interesting story to it.
Why are you asking if your response to every example use case is “that’s just a novelty”? All games are novelties in one sense or another. What are you looking for?
