I just learned about the Tyre Extinguishers. They use lentils to depress the pin on the valve cap of an SUV’s tyre, so that the tyre deflates without getting damaged. It’s super effective and it’s not a crime. They are called the Tyre Extinguishers.

I thought this was gonna be a post about how to extinguish a tire that’s on fire, then I read further…

Your movement is about damaging other people’s property, and although I would never do such a thing, don’t be surprised if you get extinguished with a crowbar…

Be better than that, don’t touch other people’s stuff.

Urr dure don’t thread on me

If people destroy the environment with shitty and useless choices, deflating (and not damaging) their tires is really not the worst you can do

Again, don’t touch someone else’s vehicle, unless you wanna pay for it, with $$$ or your life.

No I’d never do that, but don’t go out there testing your luck. There’s a lot more crazy nutjobs than you…

        Be better than that please.

Nope. Don’t do that. Not only are you tampering with someone else’s property, it can be dangerous. Also changing people’s minds with force never works.

    Pussies in this thread

Destroy all cars, as they destroy my lungs and hearing.

This won’t have any meaningful impact on the culture and industry that upholds cars as the only viable method of travel. What it will do is measurable damage - either monetarily or physically - to people who are not your enemy, and will alienate much larger swathes of people from ever sympathizing with the movement to free us from the tyranny of cars.

I mean sure, killing people by deflating their tires slowly such that the tires pop on the highway is one way to reach your goals, but not very ethical either. And btw, it does damage the tires.

I’d recommend you don’t touch anything that doesn’t belong to you, unless you wanna be keyed with a razor blade yourself.

No I would never do that, but there’s a many of folks that will. There are much better ways to protest vehicles without going out to damage them.

Have you ever considered protesting the cities for their road structures? Encourage more bicycle and foot travel in your city? Things like that?..

Disagree. I’ve never heard a target of this tactic say it changed their minds.

I hate cars too, but occasionally they’re necessary.
