Neo-Nazis employ their ideology to promote hatred and racial supremacy (often white supremacy), to attack racial and ethnic minorities (often antisemitism and Islamophobia), and in some cases to create a fascist state.

Not sure what “left” or “right” mean anymore. I thought nazi would be on the right?

Either way this divides us instead of coming together as working class vs wealthy class.

Not sure what “left or “right” mean anymore.

Left stands for equality, right stands for hierarchy

            That is in theory.

When you talk to actual people, I do not think they see it that way.

I still see it as a dividing mechanism that the wealthy class uses to divide the working class.

Well like it or not, some members of the working class want to perpetuate hierarchy, so it’s a useful distinction.

Yes, it is a distinction, jargon used in politics.

I still see it as a learning and teaching opportunity when you meet people like that.

Hard to change minds and you need to listen much more than talk, neutral stances as a start then as you are more of an acquaintance you can get into the nitty-gritty topics.

                Thanks for pointing it out!

National socialism has nothing to do with socialism. Its like North Korea calling themselves a democratic republic. Just play acting at being the good guys.

It’s complicated and depends on who you’re talking about. Classic Nazis prefer to ensure the workers are a productive exploited lot ala Henry Ford’s idea of a utopia with the exploitive corporations tied heavily into the state, and the unproductive are to be shot.

Henry Ford is one of my favorite examples of an American exceptionalist specifically because you can bankroll a story about American Exceptionalism straight into authoritarian asshole.

I get a lot of mileage out of him.

Feel free to check out social democracy - it’s socialism except that it has actually worked great on numerous occasions.

Social democracy is still a capitalist ideology though, not the best recommendation to someone who said hates capitalism. I’d recommend Anarchism or Post-Marxism

Only insofar as capitalism is the midpoint between feudalism and socialism. Democratic socialists are for allowing the majority to set the pace for moving towards that ideal so as to minimise societal disruption through rapid change.
