Now do the writings from the other 100 mass shooters this year… Oh yeah they are Trump loving America-First nut jobs and their writing mimics the conspiracy theories and racism of Republican leadership. Let’s see the writings of the Trump supporter who stabbed a six year old fifty times just like two weeks ago.

When there is a right wing manifesto for a shooting it is very quickly released to the public. That is why there is controversy around this because it appears to be blatantly partisan to block a manifesto simply for being from the “wrong” side.

Bingo. I agree, typically these shootings are done by more radical right wingers, but the one time it’s done by mentally ill leftist, there’s a blatant effort to keep it under wraps.

Edit: lol keep downvoting… I’m still right.

The majority of them aren’t specifically left or right. There’s been a few right ones in the last few years that are paraded in the news nonstop but nowhere near enough to call it “typical.” The silence around this one is far more telling than the actual statistics on motives. Now if you expand the definitions beyond random public massacres and include gang shootings to get to the desired “300th mass shooting this year” metric then the typical politics of the shooters swing wildly away from the right.

The bottom line is the perpetrators of the type of horrific events the average person thinks of when they hear “mass shooting” are going for media attention which triggers more. The media coverage is the final cause of these so nonstop coverage highlighting a right wing connection sets off other deranged people with similar thoughts. I don’t think any of them on either side should get the attention or publicity but selecting which ideologies to give 24/7 coverage is even worse than publicizing them all.

This story originates from Fox News and is distributed by Fox affiliates. Fox News has testified in court (multiple times) that their content is untrue, simply for entertainment, and that no reasonable person would confuse their content for fact-based reporting of true events.

In short, this story lacks veracity. Every word uttered by conservatives is deception or manipulation. This story is written by conservatives. Do not believe it.

This poor guy probably never saw the text messages released in the Dominion lawsuit between Fox talent like Tucker Carlson and management describing their audience as a bunch of gullible morons.

This feels like a situation where everyone knows about a person cheating on their spouse, except for the spouse, and everyone is too uncomfortable to say anything to them about it.

So the whole reason to block the writings are to hide the fact the shooter targeted wealthy families and to prevent copycats.

The attack definitely falls under class warfare. Why target kids though? That’s the f’d up part of this.

From Wikipedia, it appears that he attended school there when he was 10, and the victims were age 9. Sounds like a very targeted motive for the shooting.

Sounds like the ahooter saw it as attacking the setting/system and not individuals. Fucked up since the 9 year old kids don’t choose where they attend or what socioeconomic class they are a part of.

No, there was no need to release the manifesto and it was only released to stoke the “whites are in danger” crowd.

A white FtM, fighting white privilege by killing children. That is what I managed to gather.

Do note that the source is Fox Entertainment. (Legally they aren’t a news source.) This is to be taken with a massive grain of salt, as they have been proven to intentionally post misinformation to further their agenda.

You read the whole thing and it is uncanny:

Hale, a transgender 28-year-old man going by the name “Aiden” Hale, entered The Covenant School on March 27, 2023 in Green Hills, Tennessee – killing six, before being shot and killed by responding officers.

The manifesto detailed thoughts Hale had leading up to what was referred to as “DEATH DAY”, as well as a timeline in which the shooting would take place.

Audrey Hale: “Can’t believe I’m doing this, but I’m ready…I hope my victims aren’t.”

Hale: “I hope I have a high death count.”

    Hale: “Kill those kids!!!”

Hale: “going to fancy private schools with those fancy khakis + sports backpacks w/ their daddies mustangs + convertibles.”

Hale: “Wanna kill all you little crackers!!! Bunch of little removeds w/ your white privileges”

Hale: There were several times I could have been caught especially b—ack in the summer of 2021

Hale: “It might be 10 minutes tops. It might be 3-7. Its gunna go quick.”

I don’t understand the kids part. Maybe because they’re easy kills? Even if this is about class, it’s not going to win anyone over if kids are dying.

My guess is some form of misguided resentment. Some people detest anyone that they think has it better in life than they do
