Eh let them at this point. I’ve noticed over the last few years that reddit has gone from a “lets look at memes to cat pictures” to “rage all the time” mode. Either side of the political spectrum, it’s all outrage porn. All to drive clicks. I know lemmy isn’t as big, but I don’t get panic attacks from the constant doom scrolling either.
Just wait until they start killing porn subs before (or shortly after) going IPO to be more advertiser friendly… That will be a glorious shitshow and the true stresstest for Lemmy.
