So is lemmy.one staying federated with Threads?
This was written before lemmy.one was created, but I feel similarly (to not defederate) at the moment: https://fediverse.neat.pub/2023/07/10/threads/ - could definitely go either way with this one though.
Throwing in my vote to defederate.
There isn’t much to doscuss that hasn’t been said in the larger communities.

Threads just started turning on federation like yesterday.
I’ll move instances if we do stay connected. Considering this is the home of privacyguides it’d be weird to stay connected to the Meta datagrinder…

According to this lemmy.one is federated with Threads right now.
I’m sure none of us can be bothered with a big discussion but I’m moving away if we defederate from Threads. I just can’t see the point of responding before any danger has materialised. For me, Threads adoption is a sign of success.
