Found out that here in S. FL, Costco is holding off on all Covid vaccines until they have some kind of meeting about it later this month. So that’s not exactly promising. I know the CVS’ here are giving people hell about getting the shot. Things seem like they’re taking a turn for the worse around here about Covid and I honestly didn’t think that was possible.
Where are you getting this shit from? I’m literally referencing anecdotal vaccine reactions not peer reviewed papers. If you want to air your grievances on any of these issues then that’s fine, just please do it with someone else.

Covid can effect your sense of taste. Might be time to get tested.
The vaccine isn’t sterilizing so it won’t help you from catching it. Wearing a well-fitted N95 is the only proven thing that can do that.
You are lucky you got them to mask. Down here the doctors seem to be getting more resistant to masks if you can believe it.

I certainly didn’t do that. I did say not to stress and to shoot for Novavax. Anecdotal evidence from social media tells us the MNRA vaccines tend to have harsher side effects vs. the protein based vaccines. Since this isn’t studied, its really all we have to go on. What they did study was the lasting effects of the previous vaccine. The Novavax was shown to last longer in the body (IIRC 6 months or so) vs. the MNRA (IIRC 4 months or so). Covid Twitter is awash in info about this. I have no idea why you think I’m trying fearmonger about this.
Wear a mask, get vaccinated, try to get Novavax, if you can’t get it get whichever one you can.
Correct. At least it did during the last round of vaccines. Of course, no one knows how the new vaccines will actually play out in the body, but Novavax has a strong track record of success and some studies have shown it being longer lasting. The 2x in 8 weeks was the guidance previously but I don’t believe they’ve published a specific guidance for this round as of yet.
No matter what vaccine you do get, wear an N95!
It is up to date but its the MRNA version either Moderna or Pfizer (I don’t know what Walgreens carries specifically.) Novavax is protein based, seems to have a longer lasing effect in the body, and shows fewer side effects. CEO who snatched boy’s hat at US Open says he made ‘huge mistake’
The man who was caught on camera snatching a hat off a young boy at the US Open has said he made a “huge mistake” after footage of the incident went viral.
Piotr Szczerek, a Polish chief executive of a paving firm, said he was “convinced” tennis star Kamil Majchrzak had been “passing his hat in my direction”.
“I know I did something that seemed like consciously collecting a memento from a child,” he wrote in a statement. “This wasn’t my intention, but it doesn’t change the fact that I hurt the boy and disappointed the fans.”
The video, taken during Majchrzak’s match on Thursday, showed the tennis player offering his cap to a child, before Mr Szczerek appears to take it.
Versions of the clip were shared widely on social media and prompted criticism of Mr Szczerek’s actions.
The 50-year-old wrote on social media on Monday: “I would like to unequivocally apologise to the injured boy, his family, as well as all the fans and the player himself.”
He added that he had given the hat back to the boy, and hoped that it had “at least partially repaired the damage that was done”.
Majchrzak, 29, who had just won his match against Russian ninth seed Karen Khachanov when the incident unfolded, told the BBC he believed he “did what most of athletes would do in this kind of situation”, adding he hoped the boy and his family “had a great day”.
He earlier indicated to the New York Post that he felt there had been some kind of confusion.
“I was pointing, giving the hat, but I had a lot going on after my match, after being super tired and super excited for the win,” he said.

The tennis star reunited with the boy over the weekend, sharing clips of him giving the young fan a cap and other merchandise on Instagram.
“Today after warm up, I had a nice meeting,” the tennis star wrote, adding: “Do you recognise [the cap]?”
Majchrzak, ranked 76th in the world in men’s singles, came back from two sets down to beat Khachanov in a second-round match at Flushing Meadows, but was forced to retire injured during the first set of his third-round tie against Switzerland’s Leandro Riedi on Saturday.
He later confirmed he had torn an intercostal muscle.
Mr Szczerek and his wife Anna founded his paving company Drogbruk in 1999, polish outlet Tenis Magazyn reported. The company sponsors sporting events and Polish athletes.
The couple and their two sons are amateur tennis players who compete in local leagues, and have hosted Polish tennis pro Urszula Radwańska on their home court, according to Tenis Magazyn.

The infrequency of this seems very odd to me. I think this might be something other than the teargas at this point. Have you tried sleeping somewhere other than the bed for a change in environment A/B test? How about something as simple as a benadryl or allergy pill when the flare’s come on to see if it helps alleviate the symptoms.
I don’t know anything about oiling your clothes before washing as that’s definitely outside of my purview. Unless you were going to add vinegar as well, then I could recommend some seasoning to really kick up your salad laundry.
