A couple weeks ago out of curiosity I googled and I checked the Wikipedia page if there were any criminal charges filed. Like everybody reading this - I knew there wouldn’t be any. And surprise, surprise - there weren’t. And it really aggravates me how Americans conflate civil trials with criminal trials. “Having your day in court” is all well and good* but how 'bout the greedy, vile company having its day in criminal court?
*If you have the resources to expend the prerequisite time, money, and effort.

store bought normal hummus is pretty good, because actual hummus is like a top tier food. i find that store bought red pepper hummus tends to be pretty good. like a 6/10 compared to a 10/10 homemade
ive never had homemade dessert hummus, is that even a thing? id be curious to try it. it kinda strikes me as one of those things you’d only do if you were full capitalist pilled trying to fill shelves with as many flavors of your brand of garbage as possible to artificially keep down competition, but i could be very wrong

Dessert hummus is actually pretty good, its kinda like eating frosting but with the texture of hummus. I like to have it with pita chips so that it has that salty/sweet thing going on. Not so sure about this flavor though.

Is adding sugar and fall spices to chickpeas so much crazier than adding it to squash?
I swear I’ve been told a recipe for some desert that used blended/mashed chickpeas as a base, but I can’t remember what it was. It seems like a weird choice at first glance, but I mean chickpeas just have a sort of warm and savory flavor and when mashed they do get a consistency in the same general ballpark as a lot of chilled deserts.
Now whether a given recipe is actually good with them, that’s up in the air, but they probably could be used as a base for a desert with a bit of experimentation. I just don’t really cook sweet things, so I haven’t tried personally.

Pumpkin flesh isn’t usually all that sweet, so I can understand the added sugar. The vanilla I could take or leave.
