I had mine froze, I can’t rmbr exactly how long ago, maybe 15 years. I had someone attempt to get a credit card in my name, it ended with me having my credit locked for 7 years. I’m pretty sure the way it worked was there was a note on my credit file that I had to get a phone call before any credit was issued in my name. I was in a bank one time during this period looking for credit, the rep actually phoned my phone while I was sitting there. In Canada. I had to deal with Equifax, Transunion, and also Experian.

For this claim, the Gov of BC says they will back $150 million in loan guarantees. There was a $35 mil industrial compound under development which lost its funding from a traditional lender, so thats part of it. The rest is for mortgage holders of homes who may be affected, and et al, I don’t have all the details. The story is developing.

Well, I just declare.

I stopped using youtube completely back when Trump was elected. I was never a big user anyway, I prefer reading. Its not something I grew up with so I don’t miss it. I got a used Pixel for GrapheneOS shortly after that. I got a Proton account a few years ago, and stopped using google search back in 2008, when I started using Linux and duckduckgo was the default search in Firefox. I think I’m pretty degoogled now. Hope Graphene can find an OEM supplier, having this Pixel gives me some strong dissonance. Its just a temporary fix, it was cheap tho.
