Qatar had the World Cup stadiums built with literal slave labour, and we really don’t want to talk about the general situation of human rights in these countries (it’s bad, really bad), but doesn’t matter because they’re not the US I guess.
As a Canadian, there is a small but nonzero chance that I would go to an event in the US, in normal times. These are not normal times, and I will not set foot in the country.
