I’m reading this from a different stand point…

I think that he believes that there will be a shutdown anyways so that in his mind he can claim credit for the shutdown.

As in, I told them to shut it down and they did. Look how powerful I am.

Leaning on an over built podium designed to support a rhinosorous, but still creaks under his fat ass, talking like he’s divulging divine secrets or sumthing.

Reality, he’s batshit crazy and always has been

I’m not smart enough to know. If the gov shuts down, would that stall his trials as well? Or is that a separate entity?

No, the federal government will shut down, but Georgia and New York won’t. Also necessary functions of government like trials often continue. It’s like how when the country shut down for Covid some people still had to go to work

Oh yeah, it’s like how I convinced my nieces and nephews I control traffic lights. I see the timer on the crosswalk counting down and then I say “It’s turning green” or something like that and then it does. They were mystified until they turned like, 8.

If you’re familiar with the light cycles, it’s pretty easy to time it within a second or two just by paying attention to who currently has a green and who’s coming to a stop.

That should keep them impressed a few more years. Quite a few if they turn out to be a terrible driver!
