Honestly, at this point, Trump is just a puppet who gives them what he wants because they let him do what he wants. I suspect once an actual christofascist gets into power he’s as fucked as the rest of us.

It’s probably prudent to tar every Republican with the brush, no matter who they are; at best they’re perfectly willing to work with them.

I’m talking about these new-school “Evangelicals” hell-bent on taking over the US government. Republicans started courting these people in the 70s after Nixon made them look bad. Since then they’ve taken over the Republican party and have serious plans to install a dictatorship should they get one of them elected president.
They had McCarthy in the 50’s around the same time that the Christian Nationalist changed the pledge of allegiance and national motto to include their god.
