    It’s well past time.

But welcome to the party all the same. We have cookies.

Was going to say… “been time”.

But a Trump win poses the biggest threat of a Christofascist power grab that I’ve seen.

Honestly, at this point, Trump is just a puppet who gives them what he wants because they let him do what he wants. I suspect once an actual christofascist gets into power he’s as fucked as the rest of us.

(He is a fascist, just not a Christian.)

It’s probably prudent to tar every Republican with the brush, no matter who they are; at best they’re perfectly willing to work with them.

That time was 45 years ago. It’s kind of too late now, the wheels are turning with more than 4 decades of inertia behind them.

It’s time to start worrying about Christian nationalism…

Only now? Lol. Christian Nationalism has been a threat my entire adult life at a minimum, and twice on Sundays!!! And these days, well, we’ve all been baby-eating, baby-fucking Satan worshippers in the eye of the Qooqs since at LEAST 2016, if not before. It’s LONG past time to stop worrying about Christian Nationalism!

Andrew L. Seidel and his book presentation titled “The Founding Myth: Why Christian Nationalism Is Un-American” fit in here. He really captures some key phrases that fits very well with the topic.

The best indicator of a Trump voter in the 2016 election was not race, was not religion, but was actually the believing the United States were founded as a christian nation.

He goes deeper how evangelicals shifted over decades the perception of topics and artifacts to feed their myth. The actual Segment is only 18 Minutes long (starting at Minute 3:10) before it goes into a Q&A Session. Pretty on point how he describes the situation. Video is 4 years old…
