        It’s also still used if “misinformation” turns out to be 100% true.

        Also, it’s for some reason never applied if, say, Israel pushes the narrative that babies were beheaded, or if Zenz says there’s a genocide in the middle of Urumuqi, Xinjiang.

      The term was invented by defense experts John Arquilla and David Ronfeldt in a 1999 RAND Corporation study and often appears in connection with that of smart power.

      You can’t make this up (although apparently you can)
