I’ve got wallet and lighter front right, phone and cigs front left, and keys on a carabiner tucked into back right. Back left is basically always empty.

Apparently, pickpockets sometimes put up signs earning of pickpockets, because it causes people to check their pockets for valuable items, showing which pockets they are in

How do you people sit with anything in a back pocket

Also how do you people keep shit in the same pocket? Hell usually everything ends up in the opposite pocket I first put it in anyway

Yeah it’s uncomfortable as hell to sit with anything in back pockets. I’ve actually utilized this at work. My customers often have me sign out contractor keys that I must return before leaving. Keeping them in a back pocket prevents me from driving away with them. I’ll know as soon as I sit down if I didn’t return them

I clip my work knife in my back pocket that is on the far side distal. It’s in a good spot that doesn’t interfere with sitting.

Other than that: If at work: cargo pants so top 2 pants have nothing normally, back left or right keys, bottom 2 left have phone and right has my wallet (actually a pouch so one pocket actual wallet middle pocket small olight, nail clippers, comb, hand sanitizer wipe, chapstick sometimes a Gerber eab. Other outer pockets on wallet hold zebera M301 and P701, with a highlighter.)

If not at work nextool mini sailor scissors and keys on left with wallet on right. Sometimes I carry a sak tinker instead of the mini sailor or Gerber.

Fucking, uh, keys and a wad of cash. Oh and phone i guess. I kinda stuff them wherever depending on what i’m wearing, i don’t have that many pockets so i don’t fumble for them that much. This one pair of jeans has a hole in the pocket, i don’t remember which one, but basically can’t put coins in that. Um. Yeah

Oh, I thought you were asking why people were carrying wallets. My ID is in there, is my reason. I can’t carry my credentials on my phone, so a slim wallet is my answer.

In the Netherlands, there’s no duty to carry ID with you everywhere you go, but if you happen to be asked to show ID by someone with the authority, you have to, so it’s sort of mandatory in practice because you never know what’ll happen.

        I’m assuming work and personal?

I’ve done the same for years, but am thinking of making use of the second SIM slot in my personal phone and using profiles to separate everything. Many phones can also use an eSIM, so that’s also an option for multiple numbers.
