Geopolitically it’s a pretty big deal, I know, but morally it’s very much in line with what the US does on a daily basis around the world. Just now it’s white people feeling the effects rather than brown people.

The only thing I can think of that compares (but on a smaller level) is what Trump did to the Kurds fighting ISIS in Syria.
