My wife is a teacher, working under an expired union contract. The school board has been adamant that they will not negotiate a new contract or even recognize the union. Is this legal? I have no idea, but I doubt it. In any case, the teachers are about to strike, initially planning a one day walkout.
My oldest daughter is a student in the district and is trying to design a button or sticker she can hand out to other students and encourage them to come to the picket line. She wants some feedback. Do you like it? Do you see something to change? Do we need to say something different? The initial event is one day, and we know the date. We thought about adding it but it seemed to make the image too busy. Anyway, give us your thoughts.

Your kid did a good job. My only complaint would be that the words won’t be legible unless you’re right next to the person. Increase the contrast between the background and lettering, peach on white is too similar and it’ll blend in from afar. This can be done by darkening the outline around the letters, and/or darkening both the interior and outline color of the letters.
I’ll double up on this critique and say if you want to keep the peach color, create a black inner circle and expand the text to give more room for scabby.
What you want is a look like this:
Where the letters are behind the black inner circle. That way you have nice high contrast look. Those letters will pop from a distance.
She thinks this is probably the way to go
Hell yeah, that’s awesome!
Good idea and an easy fix. Thanks.
