I kind of wanna do a wolf cut but Idk anything about styling it.
It depends on the kind of look you are going for, I usually dont do much or anything at all to mine (except for curly routines for 2b-c curls)
This is probably not what you’re looking for, but I am absolutely loving my mullet with my curly hair. All the fun curly bits are long enough to be curly, but the annoying side pieces that like to cause trouble around my ears are much too short to be annoying. It rules!
But I wouldn’t call a mullet “beautiful”. It’s a pretty non-gendered style, which I like, but it’s hard to call it “elegant”, “beautiful”, or anything like that. The adjectives that come to mind for me are “dirtbag”, “australian”, and “goofy”.
This is it. I even cut my own hair, with curls it’s hard to tell if you fuck up real bad. Also like you said you’re already kind of in “dirtbag” territory so when I smoke a big joint before I cut my hair it works out almost every time.
I had fun in the past keeping most of it pretty short but leaving the top and bangs a little longer, extra long on the bangs for like a kind of pompadour look.

I just let mine grow as long as it can and keep it well conditioned to keep the curls tight. A couple times a year i get the bottom inch it so cut off to get rid of any damage and keep it looking even (some spots seem to grow faster then others.) i think it looks pretty good.

Huge problem for me, too. Beyond a certain length, my hair poofs out on the sides and I become Ronald McDonald with a massive forehead.
