Yes exactly. Geopolitics , safety and sovereignty are at stake. And if the new EU " anti-veto amendment initiative" works, we don’t need to be afraid of a second Hungary/ Slovakia blocking stuff.#

          Wait, this exists now?

They are definitely cooking something up. Like a new 4th layer. And the idea is iirc, that the 26 members form a new legal unity in which majority vote and stuff is possible. Hungary & Co will then be outmanouvered.

Still it is a sovereign country.

Hard to believe into another election to be faked. Like they did in Romania and then claimed “false flag” by Russia.

War never sleeps: Especially with this EU-parliament.

Thankfully i also don’t sleep much.

Ukraine has gone through the process alongside Moldova up until now, but Hungary is blocking Ukraine from moving any further

Are you familiar with the term “saber rattling”? Serious question, because I’m 54 and have seen this bullshit from Russia since I was a child.

In any case, and I catch downvotes every time I say this, Putin does not have a big red button to personally launch nukes. The Soviet Union ordered launches, at least twice, and the officers refused to comply.

Same as the US, no one high in the chain of command is allowing nukes to fly. The leaders may be bug fuck, the generals and admirals are not.

Russia says they’ll take out their nuclear arsenal if someone asks them for something without including the word “please.” Hell, the only reason Ukraine doesn’t have their own is because it was given to Russia in exchange for a promise not to invade Ukraine. Russia is long overdue to put up or shut up, and they’re lucky their capital isn’t a smoldering crater with how hard they constantly push the envelope. Fuck Russia, trăiască Basarabia.

Ukraine will be a member of the EU as much as Moldova and many others. This is not on Moscow to decide.

In a very distant future, I hope also Russia will be a member, once the country will have started democratic reform.

The myth of consentual EU membership - isn’t there someone you forgot to ask?

Russia will take out the nuclear arsenal

But in all seriousness, I very much doubt this.
