No less like “i could fix them” but maybe i could get paid and just break stuff when nobody is looking, if I’m ever in a position to like, you know, just let people leave if I can. “Sorry boss a bunch of MS-14s showed up and gosh they must have all just gotten away while my body cam was off”

real life reality is Id do maybe one or two cool ish things then get fired or murdered or both lol

The Simple Sabotage Manual exists for a reason. Enough people in even the lowest level positions of the war machine’s war industry or its economic forces, can do a lot of damage by just being intentionally not particularly competent. Don’t be incompetent enough to be fired for cause, but make stupid mistakes. Enough people making enough stupid mistakes grinds a war machine to a halt, one grain of sand in the gearbox at a time. You might not be able to do overt sabotage, but you can absolutely screw things up by accident. Everyone has stupid little accidents at work sometimes. You weren’t thinking. You didn’t have your coffee yet. Everyone has a bad day now and then. No one has to know you’re opposed to the regime, not just clumsy and slow.

No matter what job you’re doing for a fascist state, there is always an opportunity to sabotage the state and throw sand in the gears. It can be as simple as just sucking at your job on purpose or making a dumb mistake now and then. Failing to maintain your tools in optimal condition. Making typos on paperwork. Putting something together incorrectly. Wasting time with unnecessary meetings and committees.

Working directly for the war machine and doing big acts of sabotage is one way. But so is going to almost any job and doing it really half assed.
