Like the time they went crazy when the Kernel added a code of conduct for maintainers and that shithead abusive Linus finally had to take a break because of his repeated abuse of other contributors. The code of conduct in question is basically “be a decent human being” but apparently that was too much to ask for and many contributors actually threatened to remove their code.
Yeah I remember that too. The r/linux threads at the time were filled with reactionary shitheads who probably have never contributed a single line of code, whining about how the SJWs are ruining Linux.
There were even bizarre conspiracy theories that his daughter had brainwashed him, or that businesses interests had asked him to go woke. Clawing for some explanation, anything, so they could package this as part of The Great Culture War.
