Round armor is probably better. The problem is manufacturing. You’d have to cast whole sections and repairs would be more difficult. It’s a lot easier to stick flat pieces of armor at an angle.

15·10 hours agoI’m reminded of a video I watched recently where the youtuber talked about how when hit by an american truck with their big front grill people would get pushed over, or worse under, whereas with more “European” cars they would get scooped up on the hood and it was safer. Something to take into consideration.
